Create offer
Learn how to create an offer.
To create an offer for the Upgrade Product widget, follow these mandatory steps:
1. Go to the offer creation page. See how to do this here.
2. Enter a Discount code or click the "Generate" button next to it. The code for each offer must be unique, if you enter a code that is not unique and the discount has already been created in the store, you will see an error.
3. Set the trigger products. Learn more about trigger options.
If you select tags, collections, or specific products and do not select any tags, collections, or products, you will receive an input error.
On the product page, instead of the trigger product that the customer is viewing, the selected offered product will be added to the cart.
On the cart page, the trigger product will be removed from the cart and replaced with the selected proposed product.
In the admin preview block, a placeholder will be shown instead of the trigger product. However, on the store’s site, everything will function according to the settings.
4. Set the offered products.
You must choose at least one product by clicking the "Browse" button, selecting products, and then clicking "Add."
If you do not select any products, an input error will be displayed.
5. The offer is ready to be saved. You can then configure the active discount dates, discount settings, combinations, widget styles and customer targeting.
Don’t forget to click the Save button after configuring all the necessary settings.
