Create offer

To create an offer for the Upsell & Cross-sell widget, follow these mandatory steps:

1. Go to the offer creation page. See how to do this here.

2. Enter a Discount code or click the "Generate" button next to it. The code for each offer must be unique, if you enter a code that is not unique and the discount has already been created in the store, you will see an error.

3. Set the trigger products. Learn more about trigger options.

If you select tags, collections, or specific products and do not select any tags, collections, or products, you will receive an input error.

4. Set the offered products.

If the Auto by Shopify Recommendations option is selected, the preview block in the admin panel will display test product cards, and the recommended products from Shopify will be loaded within the widgets on the theme. Learn more about recommended products.

If the Specific products option is selected, you must choose at least one product by clicking the "Browse" button, selecting products, and then clicking "Add."

If you select Specific products and do not select any products, an input error will be displayed.

5. The offer is ready to be saved. You can then configure the active discount dates, discount, combinations, widget styles, customer targeting.

Don’t forget to click the Save button after configuring all the necessary settings.
